The concept behind this main service that we offer is that success in education comes from commitment, expectations, communication and hard work. When we created this service, we wanted to make sure that we would offer all this, so that we were selling a way to create a team and be successful, and not just an hourly service.

Commitment – Gramercy Park Tutors creates a community around learning and success. We believe that for students to be successful, all those who have an interest in their education must be committed to their success. Your participation in our program clearly shows that first step, our individual attention to your family will show you how we are committed to that success as well. Students, sometimes are the last to demonstrate that level of commitment, but through our knowing tutoring team, our extra services and the incentive of success we impress the importance of academic commitment onto them.

Expectations – Clear expectations are paramount to academic success. At Gramercy Park Tutors we know that our partnership should begin with a discussion about expectations and have the requisite knowledge to help set expectations at a challenging but manageable level. We work at making our students participate in creating the expectations we have for them, so that they will understand and be responsible for them. We also understand that success eludes some students because they go through the school day unsure of what their teachers and peers expect from them.

Communication – Our students’ schools know that we have begun to work with them, because we tell them. More importantly we communicate with you every week so that we are a team that becomes stronger through a shared goal of success. Students and tutors often make superhuman efforts to improve their academic reputation that go unfortunately unnoticed. We make sure that the different parts of our team are communicating and on the same page, so our extra hard work equals improved results.

Hard Work – We believe that academic success is impossible without hard work. We work hard, and motivate our students and families to work hard at being the best. Our tutoring team is fantastic at making their tutoring sessions enjoyable, and it is a core belief of ours because we want the relationship between you and GPT, and between your student and academic success to be a long-term relationship.
